China and Uruguay, both sides of a pandemic

The image of several Chinese doctors applauding the issue of what might be called a major infection in Wuhan, spread by the Beijing regime, is quite the opposite of the Uruguayan government's very low pandemic profile.

However, this same image, fostered by a regime obsessed with social control, is extremely significant when, a few days later, it seems to explain that the pandemic is not potentially dynamic. That has a recipe that has been applied several times. The same consultants of daily communication content partial content to Chinese citizens. They think that the free world has the same consequence and that no one tries to argue about what happened.

But the most significant thing is the rest of the process. Since then, everything assumes that the pandemic in China has not thrived. Now, we all know what the Beijing regime is willing to do to show as an example of executive and efficiency. What is not really counted and we will never know is how many more are infected in China.

On the other side of the world, a small country, Uruguay, daily information at free press conference, where journalists attending can sign up and, if drawn, can ask about the evolution of the pandemic. In addition, the advances of the disease are made public by various means and immediately. In this way, the population is aware of all the articles and their progress. Crossing several independent sources is a reality.

While taking much flight to the imagination we can think about what quarantine was in Wuhan. Unconfirmed information tells us that there were forced removals and mandatory isolation, which is classic of the regime.

On the other hand, the Uruguayan government, in its early days and without having obtained an overwhelming victory at the ballot box, called civic quarantine: a non-compulsory and voluntary quarantine. China's response to quarantine may have been better understood, but the Uruguayan population responded to quarantine unbelievably for more than 20 days. During the first days of quarantine in Uruguay you could say that Montevideo was Wuhan.

Social civilism, freedom of choice, citizen commitment, responsibility to the other and trust in institutions were equal to fear; although it is clear that fear can always be more, and applying it is easier, but it does not achieve collective happiness.

Another interesting point is the denial of the reality of the Beijing regime: it systematically rejected the existence of the virus, which eventually spread. On the other hand, the Uruguayan government implemented the immediate measures, in the face of the smallest problem situation. And as much as some professional groups have other totally valid options, it did not de-inject them: those considered and taken care of. Uruguay had no dissenting doctors in prison for not being on the same line of work.

Today Uruguay appears as a true island of contagion and deaths in front of its neighbors and other South American countries.

But the highlight of this face of the coin is given by Beijing commercially. In the early days of the pandemic, Chinese materials were scarce within hours. Versions of closed ports and Chinese logistics areas abandoned by the disease were quickly dissipated. Richer countries and Chinese colonies outside the country were stocked with strong dollars against South American currencies, the material was scarce and sold at a gold price in countries that already had economic problems to which they respond.

The situation that the Beijing regime had to go out and make up for was so important and so noticeable. They had earned a lot from these sales, had to have a more altruistic outing and successful donations from them.

There we will see another sad chapter of Beijing's misinformation: donations that can be considered median or girls were brought to propaganda magnificence. For the worse some fell in countries in Europe that had no material, but did pay. There was also a clear criterion there: the world looked at Europe. Propagandistically it was better to donate in Spain or Italy and from there spread it; that's his way of working. Beijing is practical: donations to Europe mean greater and better coming to global spread.

Donations also went to other countries. In the case of South America, the prime criterion was the closeness to opponents or like-minded political rulers and support for their communities.

The world has to repeat itself after this pandemic if the criterion for import is only that based on the parameter of the cheap of a regime lacking labour or regulatory laws and which also considers little to the environment and health.

This leads us to questionnaires how this potency can have such high percentages of the world's production of drugs, remedies, sanitary instruments, etc.

The pandemic is not complete: we will continue with it for months or years. However, we have to take a world rule, which is the rule of truth. We don't know how many real spreads there are in China and whether their focus is not replicating. As the world never asked Beijing too much, he was used to not responding, but now it is different: China could be a factor of multiple contagions in the future.

The world deserves a process like Uruguayan: open, with information and with freedom of expression. The world can no longer tolerate Beijing's silence for one reason only: because it produces cheap. The Chinese population is also human and the pandemic proved it.
