An ammonia leak in a Cologne refrigerator led to the rapid evacuation of the establishment, Telemundo reported based on sources from the National Fire Directorate.
Sources noted that firefighters managed to "contain and control" the situation and that no refrigerator worker was injured.
It is still to study what caused the escape of this gas, but before that the Fire personnel forced to evacuate the area and locate those present outside a security perimeter previously established for this type of leak.
As it is a leak of a hazardous product, a perimeter is established that can only be crossed by firefighters with the respective equipment.
